I need to paint like I need air to breathe. If I only had ketchup around when that need hit, I'd have no problem using it as paint.
My mother was a fabulous artist of oils and she taught me but I learned more from secretly watching her paint. Sadly, she's gone now leaving my need to paint even more important to me.

I've painted all my life, mostly for fun or to make ends meet. While still in Louisiana, I painted for local businesses. After moving to Texas, I began doing custom paintings on things like cow skulls and rusty old saw blades. In November 2005, after Mom was killed, it was painting the angels that got me through. Soon after I began selling online.

I'm just starting to get pieces listed here on FFA though I've been around for about two years. Currently I sell from my website and my FaceBook page JDPeek. I have many originals currently for sale and I offer prints of both my acrylic & digital paintings. I also have them in books for people who just can't choose :)
